Who we are
Wellth Care AI Private Limited (“prakriti”, “we”) operates a digital naturopathy platform — wellness programs, video consultations with registered practitioners, and daily guidance. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), we act as the data fiduciary for the personal data you share with us, and you are the data principal.
What we collect
- Account data — name, phone number, email, preferred language.
- Health story — the lifestyle, sleep, digestion and wellbeing details you share during assessment and consults.
- Program data — enrolments, daily logs, plans written by your practitioner, consult notes.
- Payment data — order and transaction references from our payment partners (we never store card or UPI credentials).
- Technical data — device and usage information needed to run and secure the service.
Consent
We process your personal data only for the specific purposes you consent to — providing consultations, delivering your program, and running the service. Consent is requested in plain language before processing begins, and health information is processed only with your explicit consent recorded in the app.
You may withdraw consent at any time from the app’s consent settings or by writing to the grievance contact below. Withdrawal stops future processing; it does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
Our duties as a data fiduciary
- Purpose limitation — we use your data only for the purposes you consented to.
- Data minimisation — we collect only what the service actually needs.
- Accuracy — we keep your data complete, accurate and up to date for the purposes it is used for.
- Security safeguards — reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and role-scoped access controls.
- Breach notification — in the event of a personal data breach, we notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected users as the DPDP Act requires.
- Retention — we erase personal data when the purpose is served and retention is no longer required by law.
Your rights
- Access — obtain a summary of your personal data and how it is processed.
- Correction and erasure — have inaccurate data corrected, and data erased when it is no longer needed.
- Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with us and receive a timely response.
- Nomination — nominate a person to exercise your rights if you are unable to.
You can exercise these rights from the app’s data & consent screens or via the contact below.
Sharing
Your health story is visible to the practitioners and coaches caring for you. Service providers (payments, messaging, hosting) process data under contract, only on our instructions. We do not sell personal data.
Grievance contact
Grievance Officer (interim): Wellth Care AI Private Limited — mudasserakbar@gmail.com. We acknowledge complaints promptly and aim to resolve them within the timelines set by the DPDP Act. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
How AI processes your data
Some features are powered by artificial intelligence: the wellness companion chat, meal-photo calorie estimates, machine-reading of documents you photograph (lab reports, prescriptions), and draft care plans prepared for your practitioner. AI processing of your health data happens only to deliver these features — your data is not used to train AI models.
- Data minimisation: drafts prepared for your practitioner are generated without your name or city — the AI receives only clinically relevant facts, and prompts are size-capped.
- Human in the loop: AI never diagnoses and never prescribes. Care-plan drafts are reviewed, edited and approved by a registered practitioner before they reach you; machine-read document values are always labelled as machine-read and verified by your practitioner against the original.
- Document reading: when you photograph a report, the image is analysed to extract the printed values; the AI is instructed not to transcribe your name, address, phone or ID numbers.
- Voice: if you use the microphone or read-aloud, speech is processed by your device or browser — audio is not sent to prakriti servers.
- A note on rare conditions: uncommon health details are inherently more identifying than common ones. We minimise what AI systems receive, and every AI action on your record is logged in our audit trail.
Changes
We will notify you of material changes to this policy in the app and update the date above.
